He's probably the worst person I've ever had the 'pleasure' to read the views of on a message board - 99% of people on here are pretty decent, even if they've got opposing opinions. As for the O.P, I can't see how you fix that problem. Most Barnsley fans are white - so basic maths will mean that most users of this site are too.
Yeah I go to games with my brother in law who is black - we've stopped going to away games for obvious reasons. Sit in the East Stand Lower at home games. He doesn't post on here because he doesn't "get" social media he says. Plank.
No such thing as black or white on here ... we're all red aren't we? [sorry, that sounds like something a Wednesday fan would say. I'm off to wash my mouth out]
I find this post somewhat odd. There is an inference that the forum is in someway exclusive, "make the BBS more inclusive". Unlike the big hitters (Man. Utd. and others) whose fans are drawn from both a national and international base, as are their subscribers to their fora, Barnsley fans are invariably from the town albeit many may have moved further afield. Sometime ago I was being interviewed to be a magistrate and was asked what I knew of the ethnicity of Barnsley. I was told that Barnsley had the least ethnicity in the whole of the UK. That may or may not still be the case, but as the composition of fans of lower league clubs are a reflection of the make up of their wider community it may explain the current make up of this forum. That does not in any way give credence to thoughts that the BBS Fans Forum is not inclusive.
Can you class someone as a friend even if you've never met them. Laura's always telling me she's got loads of friends on facebook but she only ever meets a handful of mates from work.
I class everybody as a friend, until they do something to make me think otherwise. 'Best friends' however; lifetime buddies ......... I choose very carefully and they are not often found on social media
Oh woe is me........ I'm overweight and my hair is/was ginger ................... what's left of it is
I'm a white guy and it matters not one jot to me whether everybody on here is the same colour or everybody else is bame. Skin colour is totally irrelevant on here as it should be in every other aspect of life. I know that's not quite the point of the OP but there ya go. P.s. I'm not actually white...more of a sort of 'off-pink' colour....
Think that is part of BAME baldies and miserable English so you very welcome ,if it’s you that’s either of those things
