    Christ that's terrible. FIFA should never have awarded them it. Appreciate many of these deaths will be unrelated to the world cup but that's not the point.

    I've read previous reports that some migrant workers have had their passports seized when they arrive so can't even leave the country.

    On so many principles, I won't be watching the Qatar World Cup.

    It's how they became so rich , on the backs of the poor . I do know a family who live in Dubai who have 2 slave servants who live in a hut in the back garden . Their paid peanuts and are not even allowed to get a 2 nd job due to the law to better themselves . Not a world I could live in .

    absolutely, principles are one thing, money is something entirely different. You can chop up a journalist in a foreign country and that’s ok, you can kidnap your daughter and Inprison her for years, you can steal the wealth of your country and buy a football team, it’s all good.
