Apparently due to do some kind of broadcast. Genuinely wonder what for? Is this really something that will make any difference to people’s lives? I spose she’s got be seen to be doing something like. Just got me wondering if this is something people would tune in for...
Lizzie will just chat similar to her annual Christmas speech. She will thank the NHS staff, talk up the public and tell us about the tough time we are living through. I don't see her saying anything of note. As the head of state I suppose she wants to be seen.
There are still plenty of people that worship the monarchy like gods. All a bit medieval for my liking. When QEII passes, I would remove or reduce all formal duties, especially the Queen’s speech. It’s absolutely ridiculous seeing her read out a script written by the government. It’s also absurd that the PM has to have a weekly audience with the Queen. She should watch the news like the rest of us.
Be interesting to see what viewing figures are. Maybe she’ll launch into Harry for doing a runner? Would spice things up a bit..
When she passes I’m self-isolating somewhere that entails nil possibility of being exposed to the endless sycophantic cr*p spouted by the likes of Nicholas sodding Witchell.
Whilst I would remove the monarchy myself. (Not the time to reason why) She holds a special place in the hearts of the nation. And a lot of those respect her not for who she is but for her complete dedication to the role. ( Not something. lots would swap places. ) Admired throughout the world even though one or two hiccups ( shall we say ) along the way. I won't be looking out for it. But if it pops up I may watch.
I'm hoping she goes batshit mental and calls trump a cúnt before offering to fight him at the next UFC event for control of America. That would certainly spice things up.
It comes to something when since Struber took over the queen's made more appearances than Mamadou Thiam
I think the Queen will be damned if she does address the country and damned if she doesn't. Had we not had a Queen we may well have had a President Thatcher or a President Boris.
She's on the list. Waiting to hear back. 'So your majesty, do you often frequent Elsecar Heritage Centre and talk to blokes on a bike?'
Would rather re watch Hecky's interview than Queenie. Really good interview last night though may I add.
