Exactly yes it’s a results driven business but I’d be more worried if were weren’t playing well. Unlucky at home against Charlton, better team at wigan, could of gone either way against Leeds last week. We are competing just been poor finishing - over the next 40 games playing as well in the mentioned games will turn into points. I’m backing us to stay up we’ll finish above Huddersfield, Luton & Reading.
I mentioned in a post last week about fine margins and it really is especially at this level. Leeds first goal last week came from a free kick that Thiam conceded because his first touch was too heavy and he fouled the Leeds player trying to retrieve the ball. In another game we don’t get that penalty decision against us. I believe as long as we keep our heads we’ll be fine
I’m looking at it that we aren’t the first team to have a goal drought and we won’t be the last. Others have come through it and I honestly believe we will too.
Forrest goalie had a good game, Leeds said their keeper had his best game against us last week in a Leeds shirt & I’m sure Wigan’s keeper got mom. Says something at present poor finish and not getting the rub of the green keep the faith.
I just watched the highlights there Helen and I absolutely agree with you. We created more chances but only an exceptional performance by their keeper kept us from scoring. Results will turn for us.
