    They’re welcome to him. Never rated him at all in his time with us. We’ve got 2 keepers far better than he is.

    Glad he's gone, he was on 8k a week. He's 6 foot 6 and took up as much room in the goal as my wife who is 5 foot! Worst goalkeeper I've ever seen at Oakwell

    Looking over highlights of last season he was pretty woeful. Always flapping, out of position.

    Most of our proper defensive **** ups were when he was in goal. Perhaps his communication, or lack thereof, played a big part in that?

    He wasn’t very good but he came as a favour (and the 8k a week presumably...)

    The second tier in Austria is probably his level, good luck to him.

    Good luck to him, took a gamble coming here for a year, didn’t work out for him.
    Never felt his faults were down to lack of effort just not good enough.

    To be fair to him, he did make some cracking saves - the season recap shows that. Unfortunately he contributed to the howlers collection as well so he maybe cost us more points than he saved.

    He’s not a terrible keeper. Just not up to standard for us.

    He wasn’t that bad at all.

    A keeper is only as good as the defence in front of him.

    He made some good saves, and made some mistakes too. A constantly changing back 4 with no confidence didn’t help matters either.

    Regardless of his wages, it was Stendel who wanted him badly, and the club worked hard to get him. It was a big sacrifice for him to leave his family and come over - hence why he only ever agreed to 1year at first.

    Looks like his careers peaked at Oakwell, now he's in the Austrian 2nd division playing in a stadium a third the size of Oakwell.

    Sami - with a missus like that at home theres no need to be an association footballer, I'd be a house husband.
