Just seen on Instagram that big sexy Sami has moved their lass over to England with him, looks to be Leeds.

Does that hint towards a longer term future in Barnsley than his one year contract might suggest? Usually loans/short term deals stay in the Holiday Inn at Dodworth. Or is this just a new dad wanting to spend time with his kids, who has the financial clout to rent a second home in sunny Leeds for the year with his presumably equally well off TV star wife?

Personally I'd love to be in a different country to the missus for a year so who knows what's going on

I wouldn't read much in to it. Most Football players have the right idea of not living in the town or city they play in, so they are less likely to be pestered out and about.

Likely to have a break in filming so come over here to spend some time together. His contract will likely have accommodation built into it - I believe we worked hard to get him and made some certain agreements, probably time off home when international breaks are on etc.

He’s a class keeper - Collins is good too, but slightly behind Rads for me, hence why we signed him.

We really do have 2 top keepers and for once, I’m happy for either in net.

You would imagine Collins can learn from big Sam in the short term and then when Radlinger is a decrepit old 27 year old bag of bones deemed too old to grace the Oakwell turf we'll have a well drilled Collins ready to secure the #1 spot

That’s the exact plan for The Championship. Collins is a good keeper, but his ball playing isn’t quite as good as Rads - so that’s where he’ll learn. Collins has a powerful goal-kick on him. Almost clears the full length of the pitch.

I'm a Radlinger fan but don't think he could have performed any better than Collins on Saturday.
As I understand it Mrs Radlinger is on maternity leave so it's great for their family if shes moved over, particularly as hes out till Christmas.

Radlinger out till Xmas. Can see Collins cementing his place in the side.

To me Collins is the better option. Radlinger is good with his feet but as a result puts us under undue pressure as we try to play out. He also doesn't seem to save much. We look more secure with Collins imo.

That’s exactly why he was first choice. It was for Collins to learn from him to develop further.

Stendel wants us to play out from the back - hence why a keeper would good feet is required and becoming more popular these days. I think he’s also a good shot stopper too.

Like I say, we’ve 2 really good keepers at Oakwell.

Forgive me if I’ve missed it, but has Collins been passed as fit after his knock against Leeds? Looked sore.

This passing from back mullarkey has cost us goals and made certain players look utter babble. Leeds on Sunday we looked loads better throwing it towards half way or launching it.

I think mixing it up is the key. If a team is dropping deep it's fine, but if they are pressing like Leeds did, play it long, as there should be spaces down the field.

Thought same but nobody seems to have mentioned it. He could hardly put any weight on his right leg hence the easy roll in pen on that side.

Think Collins is the better keeper
