    Any recommendations?

Good deals? Nice beers? Also any supermarkets do draught lagers in mini kegs/ polypins?

    Cheers

For ale, Morrison's is the best of the supermarkets, also check out Rhythm and Booze.

Mini kegs (5 ltr) - Bradfield Brewery, Acorn Brewery

Netto are selling minikegs of Warsteiner for £9.99

ASDA do plenty of nice ales; Badger are some of my particular favourite.

Also, try Wells Banana Bread Beer if you see any.

    To Clarify

I want real ale polypins (as opposed to bottles) as
    a) a gift for someone

    and b)
to cater for real ale drinkers at a party

and I want draught lager for lager drinkers at a party

None of it's for me. Oh no.

Warsteiner is primarily a Pilsner style lager, but does come in different varieties.

    Dunkel; Weissbier etc.

Try Acorn Brewery at Wombwell....except they aren't open on Saturday and close at 5 in the week. Bradfield Brewery are cheaper (£15 for a 5 ltr keg or 2 kegs for £25) but then it's on edge of Peak District so more of a drive out but go to brewery on a Sat and then to local pub for lunch which is what we do!
It went down really well on Saturday at our BBQ.

Some nice beers there, but expensive

    5 ltrs is about 9 pints.....so 2 5 ltr kegs (18pints) at Bradfield for £25 versus about £40 for 18 pints.
Actually Bradfield do those boxes as well for £22 I think

Gerself to ASDA, only in Yorkshire, and buy any bottle of Leeds Ale!!!

There are Leeds Best (bitter), Leeds Ale (beer), Leeds Pale (Pale Ale)...

    Local micro brewer... Excellent beer!!!

Its not the beer isle tho, its on the Yorkshire/Free range isle!!!

    Enjoy!!!

If you visit midnightbell website then u can buy kegs instead!!!

I'd recommend the Bradfield Blonde and the Brown Cow - both went down well at our BBQ
