RE: cheap and good beer do not go together. nt Cheap as in "Good value" If I wanted cheap I'd be buying Asda 3% 50p a can lager. I don't I want real ale in a polypin.
FIRED - PLEASE READ Just had an email from my mate who said his missus went to Bradfield on Monday, said they were very low on stock of the kegs, they'd be restocking next week.....so probably better to give them a call before you set off.
Thanks Got a few options now thanks. Got a couple of weeks til the big event so should be ok. (How long does the ale have to settle?)
RE: Thanks The mini kegs don't need to settle, as such, but best to leave it a couple of days after the car journey I guess! If you buy a box, that has to be "tapped" 24 hours before use. I bought ours the week before the party - it was still pretty lively even after a week!
RE: Thanks Great. The Bradfield Brewery is local for us, and as you say, nice trip out. I have another option to chase up so we may end up with more ale than we lknow what to do with! Him indoors reckons we don't need to buy any wine!! It's going to be like that Fosters advert - truck load of beer, and "Think we overdid it on the sherry"
