Tom Lee (Chesterfield) Michael Kightly (Burnley) Kevin Long (Burnley) Nick Powell (Wigan) James Vaughan (Bury) Joe Mattock (Rotherham)
I'd say no Kevin Long, really don't get the obsession from some on here with signing him! Joe Mattock has been part of what is likely to be the worst side in championship history who have 18 points after 42 games and a - 58 goal difference, no thanks. James Vaughan is too injury prone and we couldn't afford the wages of Nick Powell or Michael Kightly!
All over 25 apart from Powell so we won't be signing them Powell was getting loads of stick from Wigan fans before rotherham game but if the opportunity somehow arose he'd be worth a shot. But can't see it happening

James Vaughan was excellent at Huddersfield, just unlucky with injuries. How old is he? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I was impressed with Byrne a few seasons ago when he ripped us apart for Swindon. Potential there but hasn't pulled up any trees this season? I imagine all of our signings will be under the age of 25 and from divisions below us. Hopefully we can develop some gems again.
James Vaughan surely could step up again to the Champship, he had a very good partnership with the often erratic Jermaine Beckford at Huddersfield. Can we be sure about Mark Roberts staying or going ? If he did leave and the option was there for a decent price, Id be tempted to go back in for Kevin Long at Burnsley. Lloyd Isgrove's name is being mentioned again and hes out of contract isnt he at Saarfampton in the summer. We've got Hammill & Watkins, but Kent will be leaving of course so that might be a tempting one for our wide positions.
James Vaughan is a player I mentioned a few weeks ago.Now he seems to be over his injury problems I'm sure he'd make a very decent squad player.Another player I would like us to consider is Ivan Toney. For a young player he's got quite a lot of experience. I don't think last season he was ready for the step up although he had shown some promise with us. 12 months on it might be time to give him another chance.I'm not saying players like this would be first choice but needing 6 strikers in the Championship we could do far worse.
I think the Luton lad will be Scowens replacement, I just can't see Scowen or Watkins staying here beyond the summer. It's so hard nowadays to even speculate who we will be in for and I like that. We no longer have the journeyman signing for us but a young and hungry talent from a lower league club. I absolutely love what our club does on the transfer front... When it comes to signing players anyway, not so much when it comes to selling them.
Sorry but Id say a NO to Ivan Toney. Yes maybe he was with us at the wrong time, but what does that mean exactly! Every player should try to make a name for themselves when they are on loan somewhere, but did this kid really leave a memorable impression with us ?
