There's a VW/Audi specialist on Carlton Industrial Estate thst might be able to assist, or point you in the right direction. Used them regularly when I had my first car, a Mark 2 Golf.

E&S Swift, Albion Road, Carlton. Tel 01226 724623

Nice one. They helped keep that Golf of mine, that was my Dad's originally, going for nearly 200,000 miles. Not bad for a 1.3 Petrol. Body work finished it off, engine was in great condition. Had interesting times with the wipers in its latter days. Ask @Sheriff!!

You only truly learn the value of windscreen wipers when you don't have them available. In our case, it was hurtling down the M62 in the above Golf on the way to Rochdale in what can only be described as a torrential downpour when the fuse went. Cue a carful of Reds fans winding down windows and sticking their heads out of the car to navigate into the nearest services (which thankfully were only a mile or so further down the road).
