    I’d take James Cryne and Rob Zuk from the board over the rest. Barnsley fans. That means something still, despite this week’s events.

    I slated Hecky, Stendel and praised the new board. I slated James Cryne in the past I was wrong. What I heard today astounded me. Also dont build hopes up of a top notch superdupa coach being appointed.

    He went into a board meeting on monday. Made suggestions. The board suggested he resigned. He wouldn't walk. People in the know were in total shock.

    The board wanted him to resign. This shocked other people at the club. Hence the tweets and so on and so forth.

    I heard it was either before or after the forest game he tried to resign but it was knocked by by the board. Not sure how true this is but I was told this back then. I think the recruitment at the club is alot stricter than when patrick was here it's all about profit we sell players in the middle of aiming for promotion with 2 years remaining on their deals for average fees and replace with players from yeovil. No loans because they don't make money. Sell top scorer with 2 years left replaced with a player who sometimes couldnt make the bench, people forget these are a investment consortium here to make money.

    Would explain how he was on Wednesday night and the way he said he'd be back when we have new owners. He must feel so let down.

    You can talk them out of it like I said I don't know how true it is, a mate told me it was also on tykes talk and that steve on tykes tv touched on it after preston.

    I have no doubt given your accuracy in the past there is truth in this, the bit that doesn’t add up though is the people saying Stendel was adamant in the Garrison that he was sacked and shocked by it.
    If he offered to resign and was willing to walk away why would he be shocked?

    No idea. I spent most of my brief time with him thanking him for last season and for being so part of us. We won’t get another like that. That was the feeling on Wednesday. Everyone loved Heckingbottom because he was one of us, but he didn’t get amongst it. Daniel really was one of us.

    As you know, I’ve heard from Sunderland fans that they have been talking to another manager over the last weeks but it was someone not attached to a club at the moment. No sign of DS being tapped up by them. I’d be amazed if Gibson has sanctioned anyone talking to DS behind the scenes.
