Just watched it all having only got 5 minutes into it previously. From Day 1 I felt that Michael Duff was the perfect fit for our club. He is. Of that I have no doubt. He talks about footballers being decent human beings first and footballers second. "Say hello to the cleaner". It might sound cheesy but it springs from a place which is full of humility and respect. The man is class. Apart from the on field transformation he's brought a culture into the club which typifies what we're about; ie we are not Charlie big time billy big bollux, but we're a club which works hard, shows respect for others, cares for its people and does things right and proper. Without wishing to go OTT, this guy is the best guy we've had since Danny Mark 1. We are in v good hands with him in charge of the footballers. Whether it's with us or someone else, he will manage in the Premier league. KHALED For all those of you who have criticised him so harshly in the past, please take some time out to listen to him and understand how he's trying to move the club forward. Be more patient and less damning of the guy. He has a vision. The negativity of people in this, my home town, is a curse. The glass is not always half empty. Sometimes it can actually be half full. The criticism of Khaled has been far too harsh and far too premature. He has vision and from where I sit, he seems to care about our club. Support him. COYR.
I'am afraid most clubs fans want instant success and don't see the bigger picture of building slowly.
We've got what most fans wanted, a young English manager who knew English league football I hope he stays, no matter what happens this season.
Totally agree re Duff but wether he will manage at prem level bit of a closed shop I'm not sure but certainly above league 1 as far as Khaled is concerned I think some of the criticism is warranted the west debacle lays firmly at his door and he must have had some input into hiring those two clowns last season but we all make mistakes and I hope lessons have been learnt onwards and upwards
Has the potential to emulate Dyche perhaps, in terms of his background as a player, respect, humility, defensive organisation etc. Can see similarities.
