Thanks to those who took part in an earlier version of some university research I am involved in that is looking at how we conduct our everyday relationships through smartphones, computers, tablets and other electronic devices. I have now moved on to a second phase of questions and I hope you can spare a few minutes to share your important views.

Didn't you post this on the Hartlepool forum ten minutes after they had been relegated?

Thanks to those who have completed the survey. It is still live if anyone has a spare few minutes.

I've got an Apple iPad. Keep getting e-mails purportedly from Apple asking me to
update my details. If I don't do it within 48 hours they warn that my account could be disabled.

There's an electronic form to complete name, address, telephone number etc and
a then form asking for bank details " so they can take payments."

Looks authentic but obviously I've not given the information and deleted their e-mails.

Very careful who I give my e-Mail to.
Question is how have they got hold of my address and has anyone else been getting these requests.?
Plus what if anything can I do about it.?

You may have given your details to a legitimate company who's either been hacked or internal staff have stolen and sold your details on. Or you may have neglected to tick or not tick the option that agrees a company can pass on your details to third parties.
