Is the U23 Professional Development League North the same as the old 'Reserves?' Are their matches in the main stadium? Is it 'free' entry if you show your season ticket. Why is it called …..League North when there are fixtures against London Clubs. Very impressed with The Manx - been passed it many times but never been inside. Very friendly and a lot of interesting football memorabilia on show and comfortable setees (sp) And whilst I'm on line can this Valley-Boy remind my English friends?? that Wales now top the World Rugby rankings (hope you're reading this Dragon-Tyke) -- bring on the World Cup!
My local and EyUp & Down headquarters. Gets rammed on match days. Get yourselves in. Proper friendly. Decent prices. All sport on TVs. And I might even not swear at you whilst serving.
Rankings count for nothing...to a player in my era championships count for nothing...only Triple Crowns and Grand Slams....having said that, as an admirer of the Rugby of Gareth Edwards, Barry John, Phil Bennett, JPR , Merv the Swerve and many others, I'd like to see Wales justify that ranking against the southern hemisphere sides and win the World Cup. Any country that can sing a song about a little saucepan and make it sound so great is OK with me.
u23 is a development team, yes reserves with a difference. its free at barnsley, not all clubs are, most games on training pitch several games have to be on main pitch, check ows for ko times and pitch
