It's Saturday. It's actually the day we play football. Which, when all's said and done, is why we are post on this forum. We are all "fans" of this club, this Barnsley. Admittedly some are "better" fans that others! All we want is to see OUR team successful on and off the pitch. We will never really understand fully the workings of a football club, and at times, some things that BFC do, baffle me! But now... on this day this Saturday. Sam has gone, at the time of writing this, no other players have left - speculation may be rife - but we still have the same squad, just without Sam. So, and I know this is a big ask for the glass half full lot out there, but can we today... just today... (if you want, just from 3pm onwards)... get behind the lads that are here. Support the mighty reds. Support Hecky and his band of coaches. Support the Cryne family. Support and remember the passing of our real club legend. Support the new strike force of Bradders and Armo. When the dust settles at around 5:45 after that pigs bladder has been kicked about.. we will still all wear the red. 3 points today will be welcome relief. I'll settle for 1 point. In fact I'll settle for listening to an entertaining match to get my mind onto the football side of things! Oh and I'll end with a bit of travel advice for those going to Fulham. Forecasters have told the southerners today that due to the snow, ice, wind and rain.. you should only travel if absolutely necessary! For you lot going down... Tha'll need thi big coit!!
