Unbelievable. Not everyone's cup of tea, but for me he was a terrific actor. The Fisher King was a quality film, but his serious roles in Insomnia and Good Will Hunting were a joy to watch. RIP.
Can't beat Mrs Doubtfire obviously. But dead poets society and one hour photo were also quality films. Carpe diem....
Yep. Great film. And Doubtfire, Hook and Jumanji were quality as a young lad. Suicide though. Unreal.
I'm really saddened by this. I know he'd fallen off the wagon big style in the past year and he looked terrible in a photo recently, but he'd always come across as being really insightful when he spoke of his addictions, so I was hoping his spell in rehab would pull him through. Terribly sad.
I wasn't a big fan of all his work but even in the films I weren't that keen on he still acted brilliantly. Proper shame. R.I.P

This speaks volumes. Yesterday, I was made to feel a bit of an idiot for asking someone if they were ok but you just never know. RIP. I loved Mrs Doubtfire and Jumanji, I may have to watch some of his other work now.
Extremely sad news. One of the best stand up comics I've seen, back in the early '80's. An excellent actor, too. R.I.P. Robin.
