    £11 MILLION.

    Football's on it's arse.

Be funny when Leeds fans realise they'll be lucky if they can invest half of that into the team.

Got to praise them though, that's how you do business.

Fulham made staff redundant two weeks ago because of cash flow reductions after relegation.

He'll be *****, he only scores goals every other season at best.

    His championship record

    2008-09 38 games 21 goals
    2009-10 34 games 4 goals
    2010-11 22 games 2 goals
    2011-12 45 games 18 goals
    2012-13 32 games 5 goals
    2013-14 43 games 28 goals

Last season was a good one, so this year he'll be crap.

£11 million from a Championship club for a championship player. 'kin 'ell. I wonder how far we'd have to go back, totting up everything we've paid in transfer fees, for it to equal £11 million? 15 years? More?

I bet if you took the premiership ending out of the equation £11 million would probably not be far off everything we've ever spent.

Between them Hristov, Krizan, Tinkler, Barnard, Ward, Fjortoft, Hignett, Dyer, Sheron and Shipperley cost us £9.2 million. Although we recouped £7.9 million of that when we sold 'em.

Have we ever bought any other players for more than half a million? We probably have, but I've forgotten.

Do the transfer fees for the rest of the players we've signed throughout our history add up to more than £11 million? I dunno, but if they do, I would imagine it's not much more.

Absolutely staggering. The championship is just a mini premier league now and its this kind of transfer that damage it even further. I hope Fulham end up in the ****.

Yes. Forgot all about him. Not only was he more than half a million, he was more than a million. 1.2 to be precise. I know the injury means we'll never know what could have been, but £1.2 million for Iain Hume. ******* Hell Fire.

£1.2m for Hume, and apparently whatever wages he wanted to get Kevin Phillips here.

Simon Davey was a very lucky man.

    Yup.

Credit to Patrick Cryne and everything for financing that, for putting his own money in, trying to make us successful, but I believe he backed the wrong manager. Not that everyone Davey brought in was crap, they weren't, but they were rarely better than OK and we saw precious little improvement. The cup run was brilliant and it did generate finance, but nothing like what Davey spent.

This is why the Italian bought the club
1 money laundering by bringing his cash to Leeds and invested in the UK
2 then a kind of asset stripping by selling best players and buying new at a lesser price.
He does not care a **** about Leeds

Can't think of anyone other than Hume though I heard various amounts for Da Silva up to £750,000 but don't know the truth of that. We always used to pay £250,000 when we were having a splurge.

To be fair to the Italian shyster. £11 million for a inconsistent striker is amazing business and Leeds would have been daft to turn it down.

Love how the Leeds fans on Twitter are now saying they'll get promoted cause they can bring in 5/6 quality players.

What about the million a month they're losing + other debts?

11m , Leeds have pulled fullhams pants down, staggering especially after they wasted 12m on the Greek lad last season
