I think what you actually heard was that we were after "sugar and lemon" for the players' half time tea, but you missed the first syllable of the phrase. It's well known that all Championship clubs beginning with the letter "B" order their sugar and lemon from the same supplier, hence where Birmingham came in. Easy mistake to make.
