... in the Championship.
Close ball control they have not.
I've seen better games in the conference, not even joking
I suspect the world cup will be on the same par as the last few dreadful world cups. Corruption may help acquire a World Cup, but it doesn't make it entertaining. Quite content giving this one a miss.
Two poor sides but quite competitive, I’ve certainly seen worse tournament opening matches.
I’ve seen better games at Athersley Rec.
The finishing for Russia’s 2nd goal was pretty tasty.
His second was even better!
Ex-Real Madrid youth player still plays in Spain
All the goals were excellent.
Imagine some of the ***** we’ll see when 48 teams are playing. The likes of Scotland could be playing
Caught the first half, thought it was okay. Saudi Arabia looking fairly poor technically but very fast, Russia doing what they needed to do.
The quality was poor but thought it was pretty entertaining. No idea what the Saudis were playing at in their own half they were a shambles.
I'm sure no rubles changed hands
Saudi passed the ball very, very well... For the first 10 minutes. They look a shambles in their own half
Yes, that's definitely a worry. Just think how bad the sides from Saudi Arabia's group who didn't qualify must have been! Having said that, there was some great finishing on show. The 4th was an absolute beauty, no matter who the opposition.
The two lowest ranked countries in the tournament I think and it showed. Quality is going to get worse when it gets extended to let even more garbage play in it.
It's Saudi Arabia when alls said and done. You would be stretching it even to class them as a banana skin.
More like a vaguely slippy turd.
Surprised they are so rubbish. As one of the richest countries in the world, they can afford to spend on state of the art training facilities to improve the game there.
I can't believe they beat South Korea in qualifying - I'm guessing they've gone down hill since their Semi-Final days.
