leeds supporting Neighbour of my dad reckons they offered Liverpool £2 million for him

If we have 2 million to spend on a player I don't think he would be top of my list.

Our pal Mr Nixon linked that a few weeks back so it's probably true as he's usually right unfortunately usually for us.

He'll be a reight player for someone at sometime in this league, but like hammill might take him 5 years and he might only have 2 great seasons

On his day unstoppable, he's not ready yet though and let's face it he's better than anything in our development squad so we've done alright this year, the lads got games and Liverpool might send us a rising star next year.

They'll change their policy next season. It hasn't worked at all this season for them.

Yeah I heard Leeds had been willing to pay 2.4million earlier in the season.

I wouldn't be against spending £2 million on him. He's been fantastic the last 8/10 games and is only going to get better.

Be worth ten times that one day. Huge talent. End-product improves and he'll be at the very top.

I hope not. I'd love to have him back here next season.

Id go along with another good loan spell, but I know theres no way we could afford what Liverpool will want for him and hes not worth it anyway. Not at the moment hes not.

End product, tracking ability, tackling ability, balls and ability to run past a player. Currently all he's got is that he's skillful and tricky but so are so many wingers.

I have not been a massive fan. He does seem to have finally got to a consistent level in terms of performance and he never 'goes missing' in matches. Overall his end product is still woeful and he frustrates but the same can be said of a lot of wingers.

It took him a lot of time to make any progress this season and when that progress came it was more in terms of consistency than making anything from his undoubted ability.

If we had the sort of money Liverpool would want I wouldn't gamble it on Kent being able to match ability to end product. Not that he may not eventually be able to do it but it is a big if.

Agreed. No better than other wingers we've had on loan in recent seasons like Kadeem Harris for example.

Don't remember Harris and 'other wingers' scoring the quality goals and providing the assists that Kent has done for us this season. Don't remember any other on-loan winger scaring the opposition half to death simply because of his name being on the team sheet. Yes he's been inconsistent but these last 6-8 games he's been consistent and has shown what a player he could really be. Would love to have him back either permanent or on loan next season, sadly I realise that is very unlikely but to put him in the same category as other players that haven't contributed any where near as much as him is being disrespectful to him in my opinion.

Kent is only going to get better - he's going to be at the least a good Championship player - so at £2m it's a steal.
This is where a new owner might come in handy.
And also for things like bringing back Isgrove

Lloyd Isgrove's contract is up at the end of the season and from what we can see at this present time he has yet to be offered a new deal.
As we saw when he was on loan could do a job for us and his body language told us he was pleased to be here.
Depends of course on whether Saints would want a fee and if we could match his wage demands.

If Kent was to go to Leeds who's signing him. Word is that Monk's contract won't be renewed.
