Makes sense. He can relax for six months, then pick up a struggling Premier League team for the second half of the season and a bumper pay day if he is bored. He is good at avoiding relegation.
My thoughts entirely. Why bother with a full season. Lap up the Bolton sunshine. Have a few weeks singing kareoke on the Costa Brava. Take the grandkids to Disneyland. Go white water rafting down the Amazon and then come in and save the day and collect £200, whilst skillfully avoiding jail.
