Anyone heard anything? Not looking good. When do we decide to move on to other targets? I'd love for him to be playing on Saturday at Fulham.
I was reading their forum and a few of them think, like us, that it's down to personal terms and that were "not awash with money" so probably can't afford to match or better what he's already on. I don't think that's the case. We're not cash rich, but I doubt that they are these days either. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
I'd find it disappointing if we can't compete with Wigan for a player they signed under SCMP. Although they were probably still getting ****ing parachute payments...
When you look at our increased season ticket sales and attendances, jpt, promotion money, and money from Stone's and Mawson transfers, you would think we're ok by our own standards. Early doors yet though mate, and no doubt his agent will be playing one against the other for the best deal for both of them. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
He was signed as a league one player wasn't he? Also, I am assuming we will be at least matching the length of the contract he has remaining at Wigan, so what's not to like?
I writing a song as we.speak so id expect him back. It's called 'want you back for leeds' and is a cover of take that's want you back for good.
i imagine we could compete with wigan's wages. whether we want to to or not is a different matter. i wouldn't want to see it dragging out though. if it's not sorted by this week there's real problems and i'd be moving on
Agreed. I suppose it's only a week or so today/tomorrow but the longer it drags on the less likely it is to happen IMHO - and the more we need to move onto other targets.
I certainly don't think we should be breaking any wage structures for him. At a club like ours, creates more problems than it solves Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
