Pretty fair though we had 2 far clearer penalty claims than the shirt pull but fundamental difference was Davies making several goalsaving stops

They had clear cut chances but I wouldn't say they controlled the game...

    Controlled the game? No mate.

Created some great chances on the break but came up against the best keeper in the league.

Boss Sam Ricketts was left to rue his Shrewsbury team spurning gilt-edged chances and frustrated at not ending Barnsley 26-game unbeaten run.

I'm sure they did the same against Pompey at home a few games back. Missed chances and lost the game.

Davies did really well today, but that's what he's there for, and part of why we're 2nd in the league.

Must admit I was glad for the final whistle though.

Should probably had penalty for the shirt pull?....yes
    Missed gilt edged chances?....yes
Have'nt we now gone 26 games at home unbeaten?..yes
Wa Adam Davies the man whowas mainly responsible for us maintaining that run?...yes

    Did they "control the game"?..no

He failed to mention two clear red card incidents (both on Bahre I think)
Forgot to mention the penalty when Moore was pulled down when jumping for the ball fuding a corner
Forgot that their goal was after a blatant foul immediately before the shot.

Apart from those last three points, I think a fair assessment. They were well set up and notwithstanding some cheating and gamesmanship which the ref allowed i.e. multiple corners taken well outside the quadrant and stealing 10 yards on half their throw ins I thought they were a decent side and caused us some real problems. A bit surprised they are so low in the table to be honest

Totally agree with that "tt"...also disappointed with their goal celebration.....players without brains I guess.

I don’t think he was too far off the mark. Not sure they controlled the game but they deserved something from it.

He was a reyt moany **** on the touchline though. They time waste like crazy whilst they’re still in the game but the second we start doing it, he’s in the fourth official’s ear.

He’s the opposition manager so his assessment is fair enough. To bleat about not getting a penalty is laughable. I don’t think there has been a player in Barnsley’s entire history who has had more stonewall penalties denied than Moore.
He was only on for 20 mins yesterday and I saw three. Sadly the Referee (who I thought was very consistent) did not.
