    That's why Wendy did it and we were mugged off. Bought him for absolute peanuts and then sell him for market rate. We never seem to learn and sell way below market rate.

    I said earlier didn't see him getting game time at S6 especially now that George Boyd has joined on
    a two year deal from Burnley. Birmingham are reputedly going to spend a few bob on strengthening
    the team so he could well be on his way there.

    Sam my won't take a pay cut either brum will have to pay his 19k a.week and pay his Wendy contract off. Sammy will love it a move closer to home for him too.

    Offering when whatever he wanted, keeping him in the team for the rest of the season, performing above what we did and he's worth more, sell him and we have probably £10m. Tell me again why our transfer policy works.

    To be fair I dont blame Winnall for what's happened. It was us and the ****** about how he had earned the right to go for nowt.

    We had a prolific striker and failed to even bother to try and extend his contract

    I think you will find with winnall he forced the clubs hand told them he would not play after Jan. I don't know if winnall or conor were offered new deals last summer I sat next to conor's friend at wembley he told me wigan and another club wanted conor bit he wanted to stay at bfc even before a ball was kicked v millwall.
    They was no need for winnall to act like he did and force the clubs hand.

    I'm talking about the same time. End of league one promotion season. Winnall and Connor should have been offerred extentions. They were our best players, doesn't matter if we knew the could hack the championship or not. Look at the money Huddersfield are spending just to retain their championship team no idea if they are good enough for the prem just that it's their team.

    If I we're in Winnall shoes I'd be very pissed off that the club didn't trust my ability to step up and reward me for previous performance
