    Well I wish him all the best. Going to Wednesday has perhaps tainted his reputation with some but for me he's given us some unfortgettable moments which will always be with me. I'll remember him as a BFC great even if others don't, which they're entitled to do. He's been with us from our first season in League One on the rise all the way up to where we are now along with Hourihane and I feel that we like we have lost a big part of the BFC family.

    However no point dwelling on him now. Can't blame him at all with such a significant pay rise. Time for someone else to step into his shoes!

    My thoughts too , he's been great for us , one of the players who's made the last twelve months so brilliant .I don't blame him for going , he's a pro and like any sought after pro goes where the money is , who on here would turn down 18k a week ?...I'd even play for Leeds with a (forced ) smile on my face for that .
    Having said all that he's someone elses player now and bearing in mind they are not far from us in the table I hope he turns into Oddjob !!

    He won't fit in at all with how they play.

    Will end up been a bench player brought on with 20 mins left if they're chasing a game & need two up top.

    He'll then end up on loan next season.

    Basically he'll end up following Chris O'Grady's path of making a move for a big wage, not fitting in but keep picking up his salary whilst out on loan.

    Agree with this to an extent - I still have respect for him because he went for the money - you can't blame him for that.

    What we should be doing is asking the directors why our top goal scorer has been allowed to be given away for a meagre sum - PLUS - why that player has been given permission to talk to a club that we are in competition for to gain support

    No fee has been announced. It's been rumoured to be between £500,000 to £2million. If it's closer to 2 million, it's not bad all things considered.

    I noticed sam tweeted thanking his agent for making the deal happen and also tweeted "so happy to be here can't wait to take this club back to where they belong" or summat on them lines and then someone commented and said no mention.of barnsley club or fans who have been good to you for the last 2 n half seasons your a disgrace
