Just a word about DUTCH CONNECTION (4.00 Haydock). Since winning on his third start as a two year old, Dutch Connection has run 20 times; 17 of those runs in Group 1 or Group 2 company. On 3 occasions he has dipped to Group 3, all of them over 7 furlongs on firm or good to firm ground. Each of those times he has won. He also won in July 2016 in Group 2 company (7 F, good to firm). On his seasonal return this year he ran 4th in Group 1 company, suggesting he remains as good as ever. All of this is no guarantee he will win tomorrow in what is a fairly competitive race, but if you follow the pattern of events, circumstances could hardly be more favourable tomorrow. He was 3/1 earlier today, but at the current 2/1 best he still has a chance probably equal to or better than 33%.
With only moderate confidence I'd be interested in Jathi in the 2.05 and Life Of Riley in the 2.40. Apart from No Lippy (3.15) the other races look very tricky.
Dutch Connection should win. As stated above, ideal conditions. I've thrown a few darts at some of the other races, I reckon there could be a few boil overs. Equimou in the sprint at Haydock and Line Of Reason in the 2.30 at Musselburgh.
Cheers all goin for Dutch, double Dutch. Dutch Connection 4.00pm Pennsylvania Dutch 4.35pm good luck all, lost 400 parnd on footy, need to start recouping
