    Winnall only put in what was on offer for him, Bradshaw would do the same.

    It’s the spine of the team we miss that made up of Roberts, Scowen and Hourihane.

    I can think of a fair few opportunities missed by others this season that I’d back Winnall to stick away. I’m talking simple tap ins, free headers from 4/5 yards out etc. I hated the way that Winnall left the club but I agree with the OP, I’d have him back to spearhead our attack in a heartbeat.

    Agree completely. Winnall is a better allround striker for me.

    Just look at the two headers at Birmingham and the one at Cardiff last season.

    Much more variety to winnalls goals over the time he was here. Scored some absolute crackers.

    I miss conor, scowen, watkins, roberts, mawson, bree, winnall. Reight team. Added to hammill, isgrove , yiadom and jackson be great in this division. We had drive pace and power. Not anymore. Wen u beat leeds 3-2 last season. We had a spell of about 30mins where we ripped em a new ass hole. We looked so gd we looked a challenger for any1. One yr on. This

    Play winnall up front on his own with the other 10 around him who we currently have and we would still be in same position. I miss Connor, Roberts watkins and scowern. But they all wanted to go we didn't force them out.

    I'm not sure how I'd react if he came back, I can't stand the man and can't forgive forget how he was but it's your club it's difficult if the wife shagged a mate I would kick her out with no return no bother but what winnall did was worse than that but would I stop watching the reds if he came back? I couldn't but I'd struggle to cheer for him.

    To be the midfield is the much bigger issue. All 4 of Potts, Gardner, Moncur & McGeehan have been poor up to now.

    Until they start creating chances it’s irrelevant who starts up top.

    In the last game only Ugbo of our 3 strikers for a single chance at goal
