    I enjoyed my two free Blackpool air shows .
    A more limited showing than your list .
    With the added bonus of missing the Ipswich game disappointment .
    But you are right , an expensive day out .
    Is there anything else on site to fill your time ?

    Don't know, but I imagine there will be indoor and outdoor events around the hangars, similar to shows at Wadd and Finningley. Static aircraft and stalls selling tat.

    Gutted waddington has finished went to very year. Don't have any real displays now up this part of the world. Blackpool is good but best are Sunderland Bournemouth and obviously fairford was tempted with scampton but lineup poor and I dare say gettingion and out will be hell and the Yorkshire air show is naff aswell
