On the verge of promotion to the Northern Premier. Good to see another phoenix club thriving. Michael Coulson is back there now and banging them in, and has just been named the leagues player of the year.
I went to watch them on easter Saturday as I have a place in Filey. Really enjoyed it, they won 5v1 and Coulson was terrific and scored a belter and a pen! Only £10 and got to stand behind the goal under a low roof....good atmosphere!!
You must be the youngest person who's got a place there Such a hard place to park on the seafront with how busy it gets so early. Class part of the world. Papas in Eastfield is the best fish and chips anywhere. It's a shame their old ground is a Lidl, but at least it's across from it so the matchday routine didn't change for their fans. Be good to have them back in the league.
Well, the family own it lol. But I've been taken from a young age, living in East Hull it's less than n hours drive, and I love the place. I like Scarborough as well, and I'll go to a game again sometime next season hopefully!
Ten english pounds at that level!!! Wow... They must be having to pay their players a tidy sum. It's such a shame that sky/tv money has had such an effect on inflating everything even down low. Used to love being taken to watch scarb/whitby/brid as a kid, probably cost 30p for the lot of us, if that.
