    Only played seven games for Celtic this season. A player on the slide based on form but Preston is a move near home/family for him so who knows how it will work out.

    Always thought he was extremely over rated myself. Definitely a player on the slide at this stage of his career.

    If he can be bothered then he's a decent player. However, he hasn't been bothered for the last couple of seasons.

    His partner is Helen Flanagan who plays Rosie Webster on Corrie. She was born in
    Bury and makes no secret of her desire to return to her roots, so him joining Preston makes
    sense. A return to the Cobbles might well be on the cards as far as she's concerned.

    Don't get the negativity about him. Done very well for Celtic and more than capable at this level. If he had signed for us we'd have all been positive.
