If we are around 8,000 we should be letting people know because that's a good amount and worth promoting. Shows that even with relegation, no head coach, our home record over 18 months and everything else, fans are sticking by the board by putting money where their mouth is.

a decent manager/coach and two or three good signings and that would push up the numbers too.

Not a bad number. Still time for more sales too. A decent managerial appointment and a couple of good signing and maybe, just maybe we could be close to 10k. That would be very good after relegation

Haha :D We have needed some positivity since we got relegated and this is that. That it's so many more than the last time we were in this league, makes it even better. Just need a head coach now....

I’m waiting to see who the man is to lead the charge next season. If it’s McCann, I’ll be looking for the scores I’m afraid.

I really do not get that , players & managers come & go , some we like some dislike but fans are loyal , good times & bad times & I understand fans who do not want to watch a certain level of football & decide to stay away but for someone to say they are not going because they do not like the manager baffles me , you go to get behind the lads & watch your team not the management

I never said I didn’t like McCann, however, he’s a poor manager and I’m just sick of going for the “nobody wants them cheap route” option. I see what you’re saying but for me to invest the money being asked to watch League One football, I want to see some real intent and investment from this board and that means no Grant McCann.

The last four promotions for us were managers promoted from within the club , after each appointment the board were charged with taking the cheap option , how wrong people were . The last time a manager was set on from outside the club & got us promoted was Alan Clarke in 1979 , all the others since have failed

I understand we want to see some real intent and ambition here from the owners, and a big name manager would be really appreciated.
But its not going to happen is it!. Grant McCann isn't exactly the cheap option though and I don't get the negativity towards him already. If he gets the job then we've got to give him a fair chance.

McCarthy, Hurst, & Ross are all out of the picture now for various reasons. But McCann, Grayson, Tisdale, Bowyer, Warburton & Ainsworth are all possibly still in it aren't they.

It does make a case for having an assistant at least from inside the club. Winstanley type. Bobby could be the man, but it depends who comes in, many would want their own team.

We might go for Tittle & Tattle, but don't listen to gossip and rumours etc, they are just idle speculation and all they ever do is just stab in the dark.
There I think Ive explained that clearly enough. :D

Not that I think we will appoint him, but should he be successful will you promise to keep away from Oakwell in future? Sure you’re an expert on McCanns coaching style, his ability to maximise a squads ability, and his style of football. Otherwise you’re forming a very blinkered opinion and dressing it up as fact. And then reacting in a somewhat pathetic, childlike and petulant way.

With all due respect, and purely my opinion, but you are everything I have grown to dislike about a certain band of our “supporters”.

Ohh well take his name off the list and add McCall to it instead, and maybe Coleman as well lol.

I don’t particularly like “supporters” such as yourself who accept mediocrity but I don’t whinge about it.

This club has had a disastrous past 16 months with the break up of our best side in ages, appointment of Morais and relegation so forgive my diabolical need for wanting to progress and compete!

Do you see McCann as progression when he’s only ever had one job and failed at it? If you do then you need to “tek thi head for a shek” because it’s regression plain and simple.

We were absolutely over the moon when we appointed a big name Viv Anderson and completely underwhelmed when we gave the cheap option Danny Wilson the job first time round.

That’s ok Glenn. You stick to Saturdays at Morrison’s and we’ll all watch our team. It’s what opinions are about. And I’m not sure I’ve ever accepted mediocrity. Merely judge someone on their performance at our club. You have the vision. Fair enough.
