To be fair playing psg with the likes of cavani and mbeppe us abit different to playing Inverness Aberdeen or even the rangers.

Anyone outside of our top 6 would get battered by PSG, even Liverpool & Arsenal might get 3 or 4 put past them

    Doubt it.
Celtic are middling championship standard at best.

They made the mistake of scoring, a daft thing to do at PSG. They may make some progress in the Europa League if they get through, which they now should. Quarter finals in that would be good progress for them as a club especially with their defensive naiveties. Leaving Mbappe free in the penalty area for example. It was Sunday League standard at times.

It doesn't help that they have PSG in the middle of Ross County and Motherwell. It's like warming up for the Alpe d'Huez by tackling Eldon Street North. As long as they have no decent domestic opposition they can't stretch themselves before playing the very best in Europe. A good Europa League run this season and qualifying from a CL group next season against Moscow and Basel instead of PSG and Bayern would be good progress for them.

Didn't PSG score 4 at home against Barca last season - and that was before they signed Neymar.

No more satisfying thing than seeing that horrible, disgusting club and their rank fans being humiliated on TV

    Behave.

Imagine West Ham, Huddersfield, Swansea etc playing them, they’d get slaughtered. Everton’s had 5 put past them tonight by a bang average Italian team.

There’s not much quality beyond our top 6. Look at Burnley in 7th & Celtic have got several more talented players in Dembele, Tierney & Sinclair.

With a good team spirit, organisation & a home ground where traditionally English teams have struggled in they’d be comfortably mid table & with a year or two of our tv money be able to push on & probably be at least best of the rest

Bearing in mind how far Rangers are behind Celtic, I wonder how many they would have put past them? 12,13,14?

To suggest anyone outside of the top six in the EPL would “get battered by PSG” is a little naive. Surely it would be anyone outside of the top one!! And even they might struggle, in spite of having the greatest coach in the history of football.

There, that should be enough to go on with.

Really? Better than a convincing home win on Saturday against that team from Elland Road?

Celtic would be a very average Championship side at best. All the teams you mention would turn them over with ease.

As for PSG, decent but I'd fancy both Manchester clubs and Chelsea to beat them. The PL clubs look the strongest bunch about there this year.

Sorry but you’re been ridiculous. I’ve read your post above about them been a disgusting club so there’s obviously an agenda.

I couldn’t give a damn about the whole Rangers / Celtic thing & have no other issues with either club so look at it objectively.

Celtic’s proven time & time again that they can compete most of the time in Europe, took points off City last season, comfortably beaten Anderlecht this season.

No they've proven they can't compete, just like all of the other teams that qualify from their poor national leagues. I have no issue with them or the lesser teams being in the champions league. Celtic's total income from all competitions and merchandising for 16/17 was just over 50 million. In contrast Burnley for example got over double that simply for being in the premiership, and then there's match income and merchandising on top. It's a bit contrary saying they can compete. If this means getting soundly thrashed a couple of times, getting soundly beaten a couple of times but gaining a couple of decent results then hey ho.

If Celtic or Rangers were in our league and had access to the wealth that beings they would be two of the biggest clubs in the league.

Well of course they would they would be getting 50 000 every home game. But as they're scottish and consequently play in the scottish league then this is irrelevent.
