Is our squad so thin that we have to bring in zeki fcuking fryers to replace dougall?
I vaguely remember him playing midfield pre season, or am I going mad?
Yes he did. Badly I recall
I had forgot he still played for us. The fact he is on does indeed show how bare bones we are. Not confident tonight at all.
We can't pass water at the moment. Why are we so sloppy in our play.?
Tonight showed up greatly the lack of investment in January to make sure we had a squad to cope with injuries and suspensions. I don't think Cameron and Browny will be having a sleepless week worrying about if they will get back in the starting line up or not.
And he was superb. Scratch team v a good Donny team who haven't lost at home since October. It's a great point. Can't we have some positivity on here please. 5 points from that week with those players. It's all good. You redzzz.
Despite the above whinges from the usual whingers.
Yes from me
Superb performance second half considering
What more can we do. On the 2334 back to Leeds a very happy fan. Rest rest rest this week and go again v Walsall. And fingers crossed for tomorrow.....
I've forgotten the unbeaten run, is it 17, 18?
No goals conceded in 6?
With a patched up side, having played Sunderland and Donny.
Hard to please some of our fans.
Give the lad a break. Hasn’t Played for ages but got better as the game went on. Part of a great effort. No goals against....again.
No complaints from me. Well done Zeki.
Thought it strange that Fryers came on and Williams moved to midfield - what was wrong with bringing on Styles?
Their left winger tore Williams a new one in the first 20 minutes but I didn’t notice him after that when Fryers came on. That speaks volumes.
I thought he had a very good game.
Best unbeaten run in league since 1981.
And what a team that was.
100% with you. We have come through a tough week, all still to play for and players to come back. Felt the fans got with the players second half and pulled us through.
A very good point. I for one would be happy if that unbeaten run came to an end at Huddersfield again!
Sorry but I still think having to bring fryers on and move a young full back into central midfield to replace dougall says a lot about our general squad depth and it's something that wouldn't have happened prior to the January cashing in.
