He's played twenty minutes in a Barnsley shirt. We have zero to judge him. We can only hope he is amazing.

Then we can sell him to Sunderland in January.

In the brief cameo appearance I saw him I thought his positioning was dreadful and he looked a bit suspect...however, I thought his athleticism and enthusiasm was a useful addition and could see what he's add as a defensive midfielder. As you say, the club is damned if they do and damned if they don't.

During his brief cameo"s at the start of the season, I actually thought he brought something to the table, however, its one of those " Lets see how he develops " situations. If Sunderland are interested in him, why are they are waiting until January ?

I was gonna go with the 'headless chicken' description too but thought I'd be shot down so went with "unorthodox"

Hope he turns out to be good but certainly wouldn't be throwing a contract at him - think people can be a bit quick to do that with players who have an exotic sounding name and spent time on the books of a very big club...which means nothing as big clubs just hoover up as many kids as they can and see if any of them come good.

Shows how difficult the game is for our club at this level.

Don't offer him anything and we lose him for peanuts in January.

Offer him an extension, and we could be lumbered with paying him for 2 years when he's hardly featured.

It's so difficult. It'll be interesting to see which way he goes.
