Is the only way i can describe our luck with that one.

Typical end f season game in terms of atmosphere and desire but a decent performance which we deserved to win.

 

We totally deserved to win and it really feels like a loss. Im peed off that we blew it in the 93rd minute but theres some consolation to take from the fact that we outplayed them and 'should' have won.
I cant fault Hecky with that starting line up although questions could be asked as to whether Armstrong should be starting matches anymore. Who for example would like to see a regular front 2 now of Bradshaw & Watkins or Hedges, in the remaining games.

I'd be happy to start with only one loan player from now on if that were possible. The one would be James.

 

For some unknown reason I don't think you like loan players do you?. We deserved to win but deserved gets you now where. If we'd have been 3-0 up like we should have been their goal would have been insignificant.

 

Can't really fault the players. There were things we could've done better but there always are. If nothing else I'm encouraged by the performance and it's definitely something to build on

 

Not really got owt against loan players and last season they all contributed.

This season less so and now to me it's better to give players who will be here next season games and time to know where they have to be at to he useful next season.

 

We deserved a draw as that's what we got. It's not Ice Skating where artistic impression counts. It's a game where scoring the most goals is the only thing that matters.

 

I agree . I was trying to be sarcastic. I'm totally frustrated with Armstrong he's got undoubted ability but he plays like he's just fallen out with their lass .

 

Yes I definitely feel better over this performance as we were the better team, but its down to rank bad defending and lack of concentration yet again on our part. You could see how happy their player was at getting such a lucky late goal, wasnt he booked for over celebrating ?
Im still worried that we might not win any of our remaining games, and todays throw away is a big example of why that could happen.

 

This is what happens when you don't put enough chances away. Someone said you can't blame the players, but no-one else is to blame for the sort of chances which were squandered.

 

Well if we keep playing like today we will pick up a decent number of wins, imo

 

Armstrong was a waste of space again. That header he missed in the first half today my nan could have scored and she's been dead for 10 years.

 

I can't fault their effort and level of performance. You can pick holes in any performance and there were individual moments that should have been better; but for an overall performance I was pretty impressed

 

Armstrong is one of the worst players we've had in the past 5 years. As a loaner he's up there with frimpong and brek shea. He's bone idle.

Surely there's a 13 year old in the schoolboys we could play ahead of him

 

I agree for comic effect yes ... but seriously theres no way that Armstrong is as bad as those two. Surely!!

 

Sounded a riveting game.
I agree that we ought to be starting our own players and not the loanees, apart from Matty James.
Next season can't come quick enough now, this season is all but over in terms of something to play for, only one interesting game left and that has been spoilt with the 12:30 kick off time.
