Conway said they were looking at an american guy.
He said "an American-style CEO".
Interestingly, or just coincidently perhaps, he first says "it could be from locally".
Yeah, in their 30s, hungry, wanting to make an impression and keen to lead and make decisions.
Didn’t say American, just American-Style.
American style is that just Bullsh*t and buzzwords?
It's basically a term indicating a full service CEO- not a split FD/director of football leadership style; like how GG led the club. Typically found in American sports teams thus not a BS buzzword really.
Nivver heard an American yit that dint overegg the pudding.
Really big, with an ice-dispenser on the front.
Nearly put that missen Micky.
BFC financial director.
I threw a name in last week, ex player only here a short time but still revered and still speaks fondly of his time here and last time I heard was a successful business man ......... Ashley Ward ... anybody?
Too busy earning millions on property...
Knows how to run a business
Yes...but I don't think he'd give up his million pound+ income to come and run a L1 football club is all I'm saying...
probably not but in my opinion would be a great fit
Knows how to make money.
But knows that our CEO job would cost him money - we don’t pay that much!
I'm thinking the same, I've only ever heard she's an absolute loony. Protests against her at Charlton.
One of the daftest suggestions I’ve ever seen on this board, and that is saying something.
