At a guess, how many do you think we’ll get in before the deadline?

I think we’ll fall short and get 4 over the line.

GK, CM, Winger and Striker.

Also think we’ll lose Yiadom.

I’m really unsure about Yiadom, I think he may stay until the end of the season and then leave for free. But if that helps keep us up I won’t be complaining too much over the lack of fee.

Regarding signings coming into the club, I would also guess at 4. But a goalkeeper, centre mid, winger and a striker.

Cavares sending off may mean that we have to keep Yids and let him leave on a free. Given the backing we now have( and had from previous sales) we may be happy to turn around and say you stay until the end of the season and then leave on a free. He can't really risk not trying as that may screw up a move to a higher placed team. Given that it's Swansea being linked and they may go down, he will need to play to his best to try and get a transfer to a PL team next season.

 

If anyone at our club agrees to that transfer they want their head examining.

 

With Ganaye at the helm and leading negotiations then I believe that the targets will be lowered - and we will get NONE of the intended targets.
But we will drag a few others in off the street.
Result = even more pressure on Hecky.

I reckon we'll sign a keeper on loan first of all. Townsend will go on loan - Davies will be on bench for rest of season to hopwfully regain some confidence for next year.

Yiadom will leave- but we have 2 left backs and 2 right backs so that's fine. We have 5 CB's so I don't think we'll strengthen there. Lindsay and Pearson to play whilst Jackson is back. Then it's up to Jackson and Angus to fight it out until Pinnock is fit again.

We need a winger. Isgrove is made of skittles and Hedges seems to be better from the bench. God knows who though.

Think we'll sign a box to box style midfielder to allow us to play 442 - someone next to Gardner who has the legs to get up and down. Williams, Mallan, Moncur, Potts as back up in that order.

Hopefully we'll sign a pacey striker. Moore looks good, Bradshaw is Bradshaw. The two were linking up well before we had to make the swap on Saturday. A super sub style player would be ideal.

Don't think we'll get anyone else in at all, Yids will probably leave but can't see us pulling any metaphorical rabbits out of any metaphorical hats.

You know, unless they change the fookin wage structure...

 

I'll have a guess at three incoming (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder), with Nick Townsend leaving.
Taking into account my transfer knowledge is somewhere between nil and bugger all, the numbers quoted will be nowt like the actual figure!

A complete stab in the dark mixed with how much faith you have in the men doing the recruiting.

 

Bradshaw won't be going anywhere lads. No bids in for him at the moment. Could change but itll take a massively inflated bid for us to accept.

Nothing on the table for Yids either but I do know the club are expecting 1 club to make an offer. Another one where it'll take an inflated offer to get him, the new owners will not mess around, that I promise you. I think at this stage the club are more than happy for him to leave on a free at the end of the season.

He's a good lad is Yids, he's focussed on us. He's not disruptive or trying to force anything.

 

Thing to remember is who knew about Stan and Peter Randjxxzy(or whatever his surname was) before we got them over the line late on deadline day. Can remember posts about Peter R sugning and then the rumours that there was another Hungarian joining, but all these rumours started about 5/6 O Clock ish on the final day. Here's hoping for that again.
