    I have an Oxford United supporting friend who seems to think that we are in for their goalkeeper, Simon Eastwood. He is in the know at the club, so it might be true. I rate Eastwood. Good performances at Blackburn, but was kept out of the first team by bigger money players. Always did well when he was called on. God competition for Davies, but is it actually true???? We will see if my source if any good.

    Sorry - should say good competition for Davies, although Gillingham do have a goalie called Holy!!

    Eastwood played OK in the 2-1 loss to Coventry in the EFL Final at Wembley. Will he be happy being
    No 2. ? I don't think he will if he signs that is. He certainly will put Davies under pressure.
    If he does come in, it could mean that both Jack Walton and Nick Townsend might have to eventually look for a new Club.

    Most definitely would think Townsend would leave permanently.

    Just on Walton. He signed on loan at Stalybridge for the remainder of the season so hopefully it’s a successful spell for the lad.

    I haven't a clue about the italics. It's the first thread I have started on here for ages and that is the way it came out. Couldn't be fussed to change it. Perhaps we are going to sign an Italian.
