Useless the lot of them.
Davies was excellent. He got us that point tonight IMHO
Must be getting near a club record that.
numbers like that bring the scouts to our games
Dib dib dib.
Four of our last six games we've failed to score. If the attacking part of the side had done their job as well as the defensive part of our team, we would be well ahead of Sunderland.
Fantastic defensive effort by the whole team but special praise for Adam Davies who has been outstanding.
It’s a real pity he has to go, but policy is policy.
that depends on which league we are in next season.
He doesn't want to sign a new deal he wants to consider his options at the end of season it's not that the club dont want him.
I think you may be missing my point. Unless his age goes down by a year on his birthday ( rather than the usual ‘up ‘ as it tends to do) then the spreadsheet will deem him too old at 27.
It's been said a thousand times there is exceptions to "the spreadsheet" it's not the be all and end all. How old was matt mills last season? Hammill the season before? Davies has made it clear he doesn't want to consider his future untill the end of season. He is young for a goalkeeper and will be in the championship next season with or without us.
I’d agree with your last sentiment but i’m not sure about the former. What about us having a general policy that says that if you between the age of 16-38, and you are good enough, you can play for BFC. That would be amazing.
I like the policy tbh seen some good players come grow and turn into excellent players winnall, scowern, potts,Connor,Roberts, mawson,Lindsay, pinnock, davies just to name some. Obviously some haven't been great but every signing is a gamble regardless of age. We also made a offer for a keeper older than Davies last season.
