Heard they will be trialling crowds at football next month with a full roll out in October if it works - apparently no singing will be allowed !
No singing, no raising your voice, one way system and staggered arrival times so in December you might have to sit in your seat 2 hours before kick off freezing in the rain. What fun.
Bet you were a nightmare at christmas and birthdays as a kid... "i know I said I wanted X but I wanted that one!!!!"
You can have six figure crowds on beaches like Bournemouth and they don't get shut. We have marches with tens of thousands of people and they are allowed without rules. Yet our entertainment industry which pumps serious sums into the economy from paying tax are the events the stupid Tory government want to restrict. I don't understand why events that don't cost money to be part of you can do what you want. But sports, theatre and music events that would get millions spent on if allowed back without restrictions are the events penalised with restrictions.
Socially distancing on a beach is a bit different to thousands sat in a football stadium. I'm not sure why you can't see the difference, the difficulty in getting people through turnstiles safely etc. Just because some people have flouted the rules doesn't mean we should just chalk **** on it and go completely back to normal either. It is obvious why one is happening and the other isn't. Cannot stick the Tory govt. and their mental rules in general, but you have been constantly posting about this and now when it's gradually being reintroduced you're still moaning about it.
Think it was a couple of years ago they banned football shirts so no. I'll be the one with the annoying cough no doubt!!
Really, thought that bloke who always sits near the front with a cov city shirt on including last year. Fancy having a dress code to sit n watch snooker..
I thought they'd told him he could no longer wear it. He kicked off about it (no pun intended) but to no avail.
