    Please tell me that this didn’t really happen? I wish I could say I was hugely surprised.

    Our away following is impressive in numbers but all too often minorities of it behave unacceptably, embarrassing the club and the rest of the fan base.

    The main, probably only, reason I don’t go away much anymore. I go to games with my son, and at 11 I’m not having him witness it and accept it as normal or funny, and I’m not leaving him at home whilst I go as it wouldn’t be fair.

    I imagine someone will be along in a minute calling me the fun police and defending loutish, bigoted behaviour.

    As it's from Twitter I expect it to be rubbish, but on the off chance it's not I sincerely hope anyone who did anything like that gets what's coming to them. A life ban and several kicks in the ******** from both players.

    I went to Fulham the season before last and there was a bloke with his son in front of us. His behaviour was absolutely appalling, including shouting awful racist abuse at Fulham players.The lad, who I would have said was about 10 or 11, was copying him, another disgusting human being in the making....

    It wouldn’t surprise me. I heard similar in the ponty end at the Luton game along with chants of ‘EDL’, references to bananas and monkey chants.

    It wouldn’t surprise me if it was the same people.

    A minority of our fans are morons.

    Did anyone else think the number of police there today was disproportionate for a 4.5k crowd? Its because our reputation follows us around like a bad smell.

    The sad thing is that, despite our away following being impressive in number, it could be even better because there must be loads of people who don't go because of these morons.

    It really saddens me that we have a growing reputation as being a club with moronic fans. I want to be proud of my club and proud to tell people that I support the club. I am, don't get me wrong, but these people taint it.
