... that from the rumblings on here Davies, McDonald, Gardner, Potts, Moncur, and Ugbo at the very least all ought to be shipped out. What happened to the young and talented squad that would only improve and "gel" as the season progressed?
Ugbo isn’t ready, Moncur isn’t good enough. Gardner looks poor but there must be a player somewhere. Potts will improve but he’s annoying to watch at times. MacDonald and Davies are woefully out of form. A run for Townsend now he’s back and McCarthy or Pearson maybe. Make them compete for a place.
Ugbo is not up to it. Too young and too raw against big, horrible defenders who will eat him alive as a matter of course. Davies has had it too easy for too long. A hundred-and-odd consecutive games, with his fair share of mistakes, and very little competition. Dropping him would hopefully give him the kick up the backside he needs. He is a good player, and he is the best 'keeper at the club, but he is not showing it at the moment.
^^ this Gardner may aswell go back villa rather play our own players in his position same with ugbo. Moncur turns up once every 10 games.
Why won’t they improve? It’s only November, teams can have a bad run of form. Didn’t we take 8 points from 12 before the last 3 games?
