Just 2 weeks until we enter the land of milk and honey - so exciting! I can’t wait for all the fantastic benefits this will bring, such as... erm... Nope, I can’t think of any either. But F.U. Johnny Foreigner!
I decided not to be cheeky and have just applied for my standard allocation of two unicorns. Might chance my arm for extras if any go on re-sale.
I have 6 years left on my passport but I am really excited to get a new shiny blue one (made in France). Will I be able to get one on Feb 1st or will I be forced to wait until mine has rune out in 6 years?
Well we know there's not going to be a "Bong for Brexit" according to No. 10. Another fautlhood added to the list.
We are already seeing the benefits of it with reductions in the raw materials we buy in at work due to the strength of the pound and that's across all suppliers be they based in the UK or abroad including from EU countries
I guess most of the people on here will be furiously building their fall out shelters for when Godzilla emerges to consume us all - right after the skies fallen in and the sun hasn't risen. after all - that's what they're expecting. Those of us with common sense will expect to get up - have some cornflakes and go to work.....
Well - I guess you've already made plans and have a new job line up then if you're so concerned. But as we've been promised the sky is going to fall in - and godzilla will be walking amongst us - I'd probably stay in bed if I were you.
And most of us on here will do that too, not expecting the ridiculous outcome you suggest, but safe in the knowledge that many of those who can afford it least will be completely fukked by Brexit.
I’ll just get up and go to work like every other day. I don’t know what’s going to happen but people will always need carpenters even if it’s just to make coffins.
The week before the referendum :- pound = approx 1.32euro now 1.17euro dollar = aprox $1.48 now $1.30. Hardly a position of strength. I expect to see a massive leap in these figures on 1st of Feb 2020.
