Just like our match earlier in the year his players go down injured or claiming cramp at the slightest excuse.
Second half they went into cynical professionalism mode and it worked. Sly pushes and holds, winding our players up and going down like a snipers target.
Cheating is what I call it too. Love Mick but his team, probably under instruction, not only indulged in lots of off the ball stuff but committed fouls at every sign of danger. Rough house team.
Perfect example, Hedges I think it was, second half, he looked like he was going to break away, Ipswich player decided no ******* chance, pulled him down, took a booking. Similar situation, Ipswich broke in first half, we just let them come through. Take the player down, take a booking. Call it what you like but you've got to be streetwise.
At there lies the answer...we are not as yet streetwise....just like the lads who went up to the promised land ....too much respect for the opposition...yes it will come but like the boys before it may be too late to do anything about it....we need an old pro in there holding their hands so to speak
Cheating by heartless bellends who've ballsed football up. Unfortunately the new generation of supporter find this kind of behaviour acceptable. You see the play acting now by certain 12 year olds and I shake my head in dismay.
It's not a new thing is it. It's gone on as long as I can remember No different to years ago when anyone with s bit of skill was kicked alover the pitch
