If you compare them 11 for 11 from last year's side I would suggest that we have only improved our left back - and that's with a lad who's grabbed a chance with both hands after being signed for the Development Squad.

    Davies
    Cavare
    Pinnock
    Lindsay
    Williams
    Brown
    Mowatt
    Dougall/Mcgeehan
    Thiam

    Moore

    Radlinger

    Sollbauer
    Anderson
    Oduor
    Thomas
    Mowatt
    Halme
    Woodrow
    Chaplin

I dont think we do have a significantly worse team. I think we have a team that has been badly let down by weak links all season. Bahre, Cavare, Andersen, Radlinger, Mcgeehan, Thomas, Wilks have all been used way too much when they were obviously not up to it. That coupled with Chaplin's purple patch giving the illusion he's a centre forward and a head coach that thinks Jacob Brown is a striker. I think even allowing for players we lost with the right personnel played in the right postions we'd be higher up the table.

Key components of last years team were replaced with inferior players. The goalkeepers aren’t as good, the centre halves aren’t, we haven’t replaced Moore but if you count chaplin, I’d sooner have had moore.

I don’t think Struber is half the coach or man Stendel is, no matter what he did to apparently warrant sacking and a 21 word **** off statement.

The team is significantly weaker, this team wouldn’t be troubling the top end of league one. The last one finished second.

Think it will take us at least a couple years to come up back to this level, maybe more. League one won't be enjoyable like last time

I'm confident the board will sell Mowatt, Woodrow, Brown and Chaplin and replace them with players good enough for League 1.

whatever the rights and wrongs of how its happened this team is clearly inferior to last seasons. it also is lacking in confidence which has a massive part to play.

i wouldn't take this team to finish any higher than bottom third in next seasons league one, it wont get the chance however as at least 5 of them will be out of the door.... most of them will go on to prove they are capable in the championship which seems a strange anomaly.

its clear that this team has good players from the albeit infrequent good individual performances, the players are technically gifted and well schooled, in a better team that one individual could thrive, ive a feeling we will see this next year.
