    We've got a decent squad and need to add 3 or 4 players with 3 weeks left.... It will be fine as it is every year!

    We are no different to most clubs in not rushing into signings and with a new manager probably wanting a look at the squad before he starts adding to it then I think it's sensible that we haven't gone out and got players in yet.

    If by no different you mean completely different, then you are absolutely spot on. I believe we are the only team in our league not to sign anyone yet.

    I get the frustration but I just don't get the clamour for us to sign anyone as early as possible.

    We all know what hecky did last pre season and a lot of those players have been moved on to enable us to bring a few in and balance the squad which we failed to do last year.

    I'm confident we will keep the players we have got and bring in what we need before the window shuts.

    I've been a poster on the BBS in it's various versions for nigh on 15 years and there's never been a close season where folk have been happy with the transfer dealings. Not one, even on the two occasions when we've won promotion.:D

    Was excited wen billionaires moved in. Not anymore its obvious they are not going to spend a penny. Pointless buyin us. Stated they wanted eventually a shot at getting to prem.

    It’s a great deal - for them. They’ve paid peanuts and get a football club to play with. If we go up they make money and get the adulation. If we go down, they don’t get the blame and could walk away relatively unscathed.

    It was our existing business model that attracted them to the club in the first place,so I think they were never going to change anything. (Other than taking it to a whole new level,by the looks of things).

    The fact that we have these conversations every season and we always get players in....

    Not always the right players to be fair but players do come in.

    I'd expect some contracted and some loan coming in to compliment the squad we have now that looks more than capable at this level.
