So true. I served with the Ghurkas during my time in the Army. They were impressive, loyal, committed, fearsome and proud. I will always have the utmost respect for them.
Went to a restaurant once, owned by an ex-Ghurka. He was highly decorated (pictures on wall of him with HRH Philip etc). If they are as tough as the meat he served up:....Jeez!!! (It actually stated on the menu "our mutton may be rather combative" ).
I was in r.a.f. sek kong, hong kong just across the runway from their training depot, had a couple of gurk d.s. on our pad estate fantastic guys and even better soldiers
Long gone are the days where one army lines up in front of the other... Got to admit they’re impressive though!
I wouldn't fancy ISIS's chances in a rugby match against those guys. They'd be better sticking to cricket.
