Betting Scandal I'm sure it's completely unwarranted, but would this have anything to do with the acaqdemy/far-east betting scandal that broke in the public news channels today? i.e. ban anyone who reports on matches unofficially, even if only for a fan site (obviously without much betting advantage after the event). Might have some grounds in the clubs approach. Not that I'm for a minute suggesting you've got anything to do with it of course! I hope this comes across in the way intended. Personally, I enjoyed your reports, shame if you can't get feedback on this at some point.
Anyone noticed that there is a full report of the game on the Blackburn Rovers club site. See http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/AcademyNews/0,,10303~1789647,00.html It is written from a Blackburn perspective of course but it proves that not all clubs hold the same view about their academies. Perhaps you have a point.
