How much is promotion worth - £100m? Surely a decent strategy would be to try and persuade 5/6 key players to sign on 1 year contracts whereby they earned the wage cap but a say £10m bonus if they got us promoted. I'm also convinced that the £100 season tickets a la Bradford and Huddersfield has to be the way forward if they want to grow the club long term.
Indeed - hope the new regime have a more imaginative approach to match day pricing rather than the current approach of trying to get folk to buy season tickets by making the match days so expensive.
To be fair I thought we should have offered something like that to Hourihane in January last year to entice him to stay.
