I hope he doesn't do any analysis.

I think that would be really negative given that we are in the top six and won seven days ago.

Yes, I mean why would a Head coach analyse each and every game, win , lose or draw. He should leave any analysis to the fans/posters on here because their analysis is never knee- jerk or contain an agenda of some sorts.

He's probably told GG that they're all not good enough if we go up.

He’s making the same point he always makes in his usual sneering and snide manner.
    I’ll translate for you.

I don't think so. He's saying that the manager will be analysing the performance and, more than likely, highlighting what we got wrong in a bid to put it right for the next game. Therefore, it should OK for fans to do the same on here. Obviously, we can't influence the team and what they do, so in a sense our analysis is pointless. But then so is talking about politics, art, music, film, whatever is your thing. People's thing on here is Barnsley FC, and I don't think it's necessarily negative or moaning to give your personal take on what when wrong when we lose.

I don’t think it was criticising that got up folks noses yesterday, it was words like ‘embarrassing’ that were being chucked about .
For sure this is a forum and it’s here for anybody to make a point , say what they think went wrong or if it was a poor display.

I have just read two different opinions of what the OP meant , so I am not on my own in trying to understand what has been said then .

Jay is correct. The other one is the type the post was aimed at. The fact that he completely misunderstood it proves my point.

I agree, people should be allowed an opinion.

However, It pisses me off to no end when the same people post nothing positive, or nothing at all after a good victory, then come on here the second the final whistle is blown on a defeat throwing around words like 'embarrassing' and 'useless'.

Thing is, and correct me if I'm wrong on this, the only person who used the word embarrassing was someone who actually went to the game and was posting as it happened. So his emotions were heightened cos he's in the stands and he's posting without having time to reflect.

I actually thought most of the posts were quite balanced. From a personal point of view, having watched the game via a stream, I don't think we were that bad, I just think they were better than us. It was one of those games where I wouldn't criticise our performance, I'd give praise to the opposition.

It was more of a general comment, as opposed to specifically about this week.

Maybe I'm boring, but I don't see how emotions can get so high from a game of football that you can react so aggressively

I guess it's how you see this BBS. I don't see such posts as aggressive. I think it's better letting off steam on here rather than, for instance, booing at the game. But that's just my opinion, I'm not claiming it to be a fact. I think most people on here genuinely care about the club, they just express that connection in different ways and sometimes need an outlet for the frustration of losing a game. But I might be completely wrong.

I am not being funny Conan but would it not be better just to post what you mean, instead of a cryptic type post where people have different opinions as to what you mean , incidentally , now I understand your point , I have no problem with what you are saying .

I expect he will highlight to the players the things that they did well and the things that need to be improved like he does after every game and I doubt he will be in a panic over a bad performance.
In fact he already said that we were missing the cutting edge in the last 3rd of the pitch. Something I agree with him over. Its not been a big problem for us most games and I dont know what the problem was this time - hoping Stendel does and can fix it.
For sure Charlton looked a lot more dangerous going forwards than we did

I hope and think he will. We should be allowed to do the same but it's getting increasingly difficult to do that on here.
